ELEGANT SIMPLICITY...

Warmth, elegance and clean lines are what Laurence Meyer is after. Her ambition is to create genuine interiors that promote harmony and wellbeing, contemporary spaces that are refined, yet practical and unique to each client’s budget and needs.

About Laurence Meyer and LMAID

After a career encompassing media research and consulting, Laurence decides in 2010 to pursue a life-long interest in drawing and aesthetics by becoming an interior designer.

As she lives in the USA and in parallel of her studies, she works for NF Interiors, an interior design firm based in Virginia, which has received many awards for the refined and timeless look of its designs.

Drawing on her professional experience and buoyed by the successful completion of her studies in October 2015 as well as the awards she won in US interior design competitions (HD magazine awards, ASID Maryland annual competition), Laurence finally makes the decision to launch her own business, Laurence Meyer Architecture d’Intérieur et Décoration (LMAID), at La Boissière near Montpellier, France.

In 2016, she is back to France.

LMAID essentially works on residential projects as well as, more occasionally, on commercial projects (boutique hotels/B&B, show-homes, restaurants, retail, offices…) The interior design services that Laurence provides are intimately linked with her personality, Mediterranean origins, taste, commitment to quality and skills. LMAID’s approach to interior design is disciplined, objective and consistent. It uses methods and tools specific to design development. It is also based on professional skills inherited from Laurence’s former roles in research and consulting.

Laurence’s involvement in the conduction of an interior design project goes from the first sketches to the acceptance of work, although she always makes sure to team with experimented and talented professionals.

Laurence Meyer is a qualified member of UNAID (the French society of interior designers). She is bilingual in French and English.
